Tuesday Boost-Day! Mylah is still waiting! She and I hit the trails this weekend and she was a dream. Sure, she's a huge dog, but she listened well and was lovely and gentle with everyone. We even had an off-leash dog run up to us (rude- don't do this on public trails) and she was happy to make friends and help lead the dog back to his owner. Mylah is a major cuddlebug, a serious goofball, and a total sweetheart. I spent the whole drive back wondering how I could take her home myself and make it work. Answer: I

Sometimes, we seniors can start to feel like society has forgotten about us. I'm Jonesy and I'm 13 years old, so some might think my best days are behind me. I have to say, I disagree. Imagine if they'd said that to Sir Ian McKellan, Betty White, or Morgan Freeman. Yep. That's me: a four-legged national treasure. For some of us, life begins at 13. That's not to say I didn't have a life. I did. I got to know and love other cats, dogs, and little children, and did well with all of them. I'm a classic introvert: I love my
I'm Tinker and, of course, I know what it's like being quite a large dog. I know that sometimes, people think you're kind of scary just because you're big and brindle, even if they don't know you at all. Do I wish everybody would take the time to get to know me? Of course I do. I have so much love to offer and I'm really sorry that anyone should miss out on it out of fear. But I get it. I know I look a little intimidating. That's why I'm extra gentle. I know I'm not traditional "lap dog" size, but
Just call me "Arlo, the eternal optimist" because I'm pretty sure things are going to work out for the best. Like, right now, if you're looking for a cat, I bet you want one who loves to be held and loves being in your lap. I bet that, if you were to go to Build-a-Cat Workshop and create your ideal feline friend, they would be outgoing, fearless, adorably chunky, and good with other cats and dogs. He'd be mellow-but-playful. He might even have cow spots, a cute little receding hairline, and round, yellow-green eyes. He'd be the perfect age: four
Wowee! That Dan! Whatta guy! Whatta good boy! Whatta star! That's what everyone says when they see me. And you know what? They're absolutely right. I am all those things. I have so much charisma that even the fleas won't bite me. They're like "You know what, buddy? Have a good day. Let's meet up for a bowl of tap water sometime," and they move along. I'm pretty sure that's how it works, anyway. The Nexguard I get every month is beside the point. Anyway, my point is... I'm a pretty cool guy. I love stopping mid-walk for a belly rub. My
No, no... I can see where you might be confused. But let me clear it up: Catdog is my NAME, not my species. I'm actually 100% feline, from head to tail. How do I know I'm a cat? Well, if you're working on the computer and in the middle of something fiddly, I can detect it and am suddenly struck with the irresistible urge to jump in your lap and demand your full and immediate attention, so that's a pretty good indicator. I have a sweet little meow and I love to chase feathers. Oh, and I had kittens. I
