Gomer – Ready for Adoption!

I don’t mean to complain, but I was given to believe that I would find a home as soon as I was ready to go. “Don’t get too comfortable, Gomer,” they all said. “You’re not going to last long.”  I can see where that seemed like a reasonable prediction. I mean, I’m adorable, outgoing, curious, and I love to play! I’m three months old, love making friends with humans, and I’ll cuddle when I’m sleepy. And who could resist these big brown eyes and this little pink nose?
I’m everything you could ever want in a kitten, except… well, it’s a tough time of year. I’m still a baby. I’ve been on this planet such a short time that my age is still measured in weeks. But I’m in a room full of even smaller babies, so… it seems that, as far as most adopters are concerned, I’m past my expiration date. I’ve been overlooked again and again and again because, at 15 weeks old, I’m too big and too busy.  I’m a LOT of fun. When I see a toy? It’s on. I love to climb and play and want to investigate everything. I’m fearless and awesome and “stranger” is not in my vocabulary. A lot of the time, especially when new friends come to see me, I’d rather play than be held. I’m very handleable, though, and when things are quiet, I do love to be close to a person. I’m an awesome kitten and I expect to grow into a phenomenal cat!  So if you’re looking for a super cute, super outgoing, and all-around super guy, come and check me out! I think we might be a great match. As of today, I’ll be available to meet at the Chesterfield Petsmart at Boone’s Crossing.
