2022 Shelter Slumber Pawty
It’s BACK! Have you ever wanted to see a day in the life of a shelter pet? Have you come to visit or volunteer and been sorry you had to leave? Now’s your chance to spend the night!
For the people, there will be games, snacks and drinks, a bonfire, movies, arts and crafts, and the chance to spend quality time with some of the world’s most magnificent dogs and cats.
For the pets, it’s a chance to have some “chill time” with someone who loves them. For some of these animals, it’s been months since they’ve had the chance to sleep next to someone. For others, they never have. They enjoy the prime cuddle time as much as we do!
Want to participate? We’ve got approximately 15 spots to fill (so that there’s room for social distancing). Each participant will be expected to raise $1,000 from family, friends, arch-nemeses, and that one lady your aunt knows. Other than that, it’s free to the participant- just show up with a sleeping bag, change of knickers, and your arms ready for snuggling!
If you’re interested in joining the team, please e-mail us at Jeanette@odas.org
