You know, Rhapsody is really a fitting name for me- a piece of music that flows and changes and really moves you. Something that throws the strict rules out the window when they don’t really matter and, in doing so, makes magic.  I’m an awesome dog. I’m super cuddly- a leaner, a snuggler, an aspiring lap dog, and a polite kisser. It’s my goal to be as close to you as physically possible… but, like… casually.  Looking for more than a cuddlebug? Well, I can transition seamlessly from lap dog to zoomie master! If you tell me you wanna play, I’m absolutely here for it.  I’m a gentle player, gentle when I take treats, and just overall a literal angel.  I’ve just been cleared after my heartworm treatment (see the weird square on my back? That’s where I had to be shaved for my injections. It will grow back, but for now, it’s my badge of bravery ), so I haven’t yet been able to play with other dogs and I don’t know for sure what I’d think of them. I’d love to meet any potential dog siblings here at the shelter so we can see if we’re compatible before I become part of the family. I also haven’t met cats, so I’m not sure what I would think of them.  I’m eager to please, loving, responsive, and focused, but… I don’t really have much in the way of basic training. I was found as a stray in Cadet, MO, so my entire pre-shelter life is pretty much a mystery. I’m about four years old, but I’m currently still working on “sit.” When I get home, I might need your help and a little bit of patience to learn the house rules. With the right teacher, I’m confident I’ll make a good student!  So come and see me and find out what magic you can find in my music. I’ll be here waiting for you!
