Louie – Ready for Adoption!

Slow down. Take it all in. Being a quiet soul in a loud world isn’t always easy, but I can’t change it. It’s who I am.  My name is Louie. You may be thinking, “oh, orange cats are always silly goobers,” but don’t judge me by my color. I’m a thinker. An observer. And I’m hoping to find a kindred spirit.  I’m eight years old and have been declawed on all four paws. I’m good with other cats and can coexist peacefully with cats of a variety of personalities. I’ve lived with dogs and I did okay, but they weren’t nice to me. Since I have no way to defend myself, if I did live with a dog, I would want it to be one that’s as laid-back as I am.  I do love people. I’m always up for some attention. My life has been shaken up a number of times in recent months and it takes me a little time to adjust to each new setting, but I soon settle in and begin to enjoy myself. I’m hoping that my next move will be my last.  You might think there’s no downside to being a mellow fellow. I’m no trouble at all to take care of. I’ll be an awesome addition to almost any home. But it does mean that, since I don’t really draw attention to myself, I tend to get overlooked. I’ve spent six months without a home, but I suppose that means maybe I was just waiting for someone like you to be ready to adopt.  So if you’re a quiet soul like me, maybe we’d be perfect for each other.   My name is Louie, I’m eight years old, and I’m neutered, up to date on shots, and fully vetted.
