Just eighteen weeks ago, I was a tiny little newborn potato. Can you believe that? I couldn’t walk or see or hear or anything. All I knew was the smell of my mama.  Now, a lot has changed! I have a name- Gadget! And I can jump and play and wag my tail and eat treats and give kisses. I love to do the wiggle dance and I want to greet EVERYONE I see. It’s early, but I think I’m gonna be a really good boy! I’ve already got a head start.

I’ve also been through a lot in that short time. I’ve already lived with someone who didn’t feed me enough or take very good care of me, I’ve been a stray, and I’ve been to TWO shelters! Whew!  My whole life has been a whirlwind and I’m ready to finally put my paws on solid ground and start learning what it’s like to not just be a puppy, but to be SOMEONE’S puppy. Y’know… the most exciting thing to happen to someone this year. The light of someone’s life. Someone’s favorite baby boy. Maybe yours!  I’m energetic, sweet, excitable, a bit of a goober, and I have the attention span of a goldfish with ADHD (unless I see a potential new friend- human or canine!). In other words, I’m a pretty typical puppy! I just need a human who will be committed to loving me and training me the way I need and deserve.  I really think that, in all my eighteen weeks of life, the very best thing that will happen to me will be the moment I finally get to meet you. I can hardly wait!
