Frisco – Ready for Adoption!
Believe it or not, I’m almost ten years old. Yes, it’s true. I’m like the Keanu Reeves of dogs. Or maybe Keanu Reeves is the Frisco of humans. Both of us, permanently in our prime. Say, are you here to take me home? I really hope so! Every time I see a car, I perk up and watch to see if it’s my ride outta here. So far, no dice. I remain stubbornly unadopted. I try not to spend too much energy worrying about the reasons why. I mean, I know I’m a great dog. I mean, I’ve lived with and done well with little kids, including toddlers. I’m good with cats. I haven’t lived with dogs or had much contact with them in the shelter, so I’m not sure what I’d think of them yet, but I’d be happy to meet yours before going home with them. I check a LOT of “very good boy” boxes!
And, even though I haven’t got the distinguished gray face yet, I do have some of the maturity that comes with being a grown-up dog. I can be left alone without destroying things, I walk nicely on leash, and I know my basic commands. I’m gregarious and cuddly and I make friends quickly. So I’ll keep on watching out for my ride. I know it’s gotta be coming. Who wouldn’t want a dog like me? My name is Frisco, I’m nine years (and ten months) old, I’m a stocky 50ish lb, and I’m neutered, up to date on shots, and fully vetted.
