There's nothing like a yard sale and, on Saturday, April 22, the city of Crestwood is having LOADS! The Friends of Open Door Animal Sanctuary is participating in the event with a sale of their own to benefit the shelter. Fun starts at 8 a.m. Stop by and get some knickknacks, some gewgaws, and some one-of-a-kind treasures!
Audrey is a sweet rescue dog who is up for Rescue Madness at Bar K. She is a survivor of a doghouse fire and she loves to play. Thank you for voting, Audrey has moved to the Tournament Championship! Voting beings at 8 a.m. on April 2nd and goes until 2 p.m. Please vote! All participating rescues will receive a $500 donation from the tournament sponsor, Tito's Vodka. The 30th annual Purina Pet Parade is St. Louis’s largest annual pet event. The parade travels through historic Soulard, featuring pets dressed in their best Mardi Gras attire. These calendars are the collaboration between Open Door and area first responders – police, firefighters, paramedics, dispatchers, and even the tow company got involved to make this happen and now… you could have one in your home!
