Groopert – Ready for Adoption!

Well, I suppose every litter has to have its last one standing, right? I just didn’t think it would be me!
My name is Groopert and I’ve waited very patiently, but I’m just a baby. ANY patience from a four-month-old puppy is impressive, right?! It’s my turn to find a family to love me, so I’m taking matters into my own paws.
First step, I think, is to spread the word about how darling I am. See this little pink nose? These big strawberry blonde ears? These subtle little nose freckles? Ridiculous. Adorable. I can’t. And I’m more than just a pretty face, you know: I’m outgoing and friendly and I’m making good progress on learning some of the dog basics, like walking on a leash and sitting for a treat!
Of course, I’m a rowdy, growing boy! I’m just a kid, so I’ve still got plenty of learning to do and I’ll need someone willing to teach me. I’m a good boy and I know how to be focused and calm when I want to be, but I’m still a puppy and definitely have my wild child moments!
Part of learning is going through awkward stages and, with other dogs, I’d say I’m currently in a bit of an awkward stage. It’s not unusual for little boys to sometimes be a little bit rude, right? Testing boundaries is part of learning and growing. That said, if I go home with a dog sibling, I would do best with a patient, well-socialized adult dog who can correct me when I cross a line and teach me to be a good dog brother.
I’m like a flower: water me and nurture me and I’ll grow and blossom into something amazing! What does my future have in store? I can hardly wait to find out.
My name is Groopert (yes, you can change it!), I’m four months old, and I’m neutered, up to date on shots, and fully vetted.
