Suddenly, Seymour is standing beside you
You don’t need no makeup, don’t have to pretend
Suddenly, Seymour is here to provide you
Sweet understanding, Seymour’s your friend
It’s true, isn’t it? With me by your side, I think things will probably always turn out okay.
I might be kind of scared right now. I was found as a stray and have only been in the shelter a couple weeks, so I’m still getting used to things.
But when someone comes to see me and give me some love, I’m so happy to make a connection. I melt when you pet me. I lean into your hand and close my eyes and make a wish: that we could stay like this forever. That you could take me home with you and we could be together for the rest of my life.
I’m only about a year old, so I really could spend almost my whole life being your kitty. I’ve kept to myself since coming to the shelter, so haven’t really done a lot of socializing with the other cats, but I haven’t shown any signs of having a problem with them.
So just picture this: coming home after a long day of work or errands or school and…. suddenly, Seymour. I’m your man!
