My name is Felix, I’m three months old, and, oh man- I’ve got the BRIGHTEST future ahead of me! How do I know? Well, I already know I’m really smart. I can do tricks! I know how to sit, shake, lie down, and sit up. I can climb over baby gates like they’re nothing (although not on command- I taught MYSELF that trick!) and I’m getting used to being in a crate. Housebreaking… is a work in progress. I’m about 75% of the way there. Which is pretty good for a puppy, if I do say so myself. So let’s talk about my big dreams! Like I said, I’m super smart and trainable. I have loads of potential. I could get my Canine Good Citizen. I could be a therapy dog. I could compete. I could do sports. I could be in commercials! Or… in the wrong hands, with someone who isn’t able or willing to take the time to help me use my powers of awesomeness for good, I could get bored and become kind of a troublemaker.

Mostly, of course, my biggest dream is just to be loved and taken good care of all the days of my life. My future is still unwritten: I don’t know exactly how big I’ll get (probably medium-to-large) or what breed I am (The special today is, “found-on-the-side-of-the-road surprise”). What I do know is that I’ll be the best friend you’ve ever had!
