Do you want to make friends easily? Don’t worry! I’ve got you!  My name is Twyla and I know all about making friends. I can be friends with dogs, cats, and all kinds of people. And I can totally help you out.  If you’re awkward around strangers, just take me with you! People will come up and ask all kinds of questions- what kind of dog am I? Can they pet me? And you can tell them I’m probably some kind of cattle dog mix and I don’t mind at all if they pet me. You can even ask them if they’d like to see my tricks- I’m always happy to show off and I’m very smart!

I’m always happy to be a topic of conversation. You can talk about what a good girl I am- housebroken, friendly, about 45 lb, very exuberant, and SERIOUSLY cute. You can talk about how you adopted me from the shelter because you saw my face and just knew we were soulmates. Shoot, you can even lie and say I know how to do the dishes and I’ve been to space. I’ll never tell.  I may seem like an expert, but I do still have a few things to learn about making friends. I get along with other dogs, but I CAN be a bit too pushy for some. I’m only about a year and a half old, so it’s only natural that I’d still be learning, but I think this aspect of my personality might just be part of my blood- it’s the herding dog in me!  And if you don’t really want to make more human friends? That’s okay. I’ll be your best friend. We don’t even have to talk. We can just enjoy each other’s company.
