Woody – Ready for Adoption!

What can I say? Yes, I really am every bit as magnificent as I look.  My name is Woody and I know what you’re thinking: Is that a Maine Coon?
It depends. Do you want me to be a Maine Coon? Then, my friend… I’m whatever you want. I’m massive and friendly and fluffy and it’s not like you’re going to breed me, so if you want to tell everyone you’ve got a Maine Coon, then sure. Now, if you want the technical truth, then I’ll give it to you. I’m not a Maine nothin’. I’m a domestic longhair. Just an especially gorgeous and fancy one. I’ll show you my official Hans Holbein portrait in the comments.
What I am? An awesome guy. A super dude. I’m outgoing, good with strangers, and interested in toys. I love being petted and held (although I’m really too big for most people to carry around!) and I’m pretty happy about any kind of handling.  What I’m not always so happy about? Other cats. I was turned in because of conflicts with the other cats in my home. I’m pretty new to the shelter and, when I’ve been introduced to the cats here, I generally opt to turn right back around and get back in my safe little cage rather than hang out with them. I’d love a single-cat home where it can be just my human friends and me.  So, that’s me in a nutshell. An impressive and awesome cat to the bone! And I could be all yours.  My name is Woody, I’m four years old, and I’m neutered, up to date on shots, and fully vetted.
