What you want: A loving, joyful, smart dog with marvelous ears. A dog who loves to play with toys, gives kisses, and is super gentle and affectionate. A dog who is young, but grown: about two years old. A dog who has met and done well with other dogs, cats, and children. A walking buddy, a best friend, and a dog you can teach things to. The kind of dog people notice when you’re in public and stop you to tell you how gorgeous your dog is. A dog like me: Rico!

What I want: A loving, patient home. Sometimes, I get scared in new situations and with people I don’t know. Once I get to know and trust you, I’m golden- I’ll trust you not to put me unsafe situations. And, in return, I need someone who really will keep me safe. For me, that means I need someone to be with me when I’m outside. When I’m out alone, I can get over a fence and get loose, so I need daily leash walks and supervised yard time.  What we both want: A lifetime of love, someone who really understands us, and to be a family!
