Pinto Bean – Ready for Adoption!
My name is Pinto and I need your help. See, I’m on the hunt for a family of my own. It’s been a really long journey. I’m nine months old now and have watched all my siblings find their homes. One by one, they all got chosen… and I didn’t. I’m a really sweet girl. I’m shy, but I really WANT to make friends. I’m just scared. I do a cute little wiggle dance when I’m happy to see someone (which is a lot), I love stuffed toys, I’m learning tricks and getting pretty good at puzzles, and I’m not really very big (only about 35 lb right now). I love to play with other dogs and I love doing anything that will make my people happy. I know I’m a marvelous dog and I deserve so much better than to grow up in a shelter. I started out with the odds against me. Dumped as a small puppy and raw with mange, I spent my “cute baby” stage in quarantine, getting medicated baths. By the time I healed up, there were younger babies for people to adopt. I’ve never ever known what it’s like to have a family. To live in a happy, quiet home with someone patient and kind, who loves me. Someone who will treat me gently and teach me what it’s like to feel safe. But I’m not giving up hope. That’s why I need you. See, I know there’s someone out there who will love me. I just have to find them. Would you consider taking me home? And if you can’t, I understand. But maybe you could share my story with your friends. One of them might be just the person I need.
