Pamplemousse – Ready for Adoption!
Dear Santa Claws,
Hi there. You probably know all this, on account of all the seeing me when I’m sleeping and knowing when I’m awake business, but my name is Pamplemousse. And this is my very first Christmas.
As you know, I’ve been a very good girl. I would say I’ve worked hard to stay on the ‘nice’ list, but Santa, you know me better than that. It wasn’t hard work at all. ‘Nice’ is just my default setting!
Well… “nice” and sometimes just a little bit shy. I’ve recently moved to a new section in hopes that my family will see me there and choose me and it’s a little bit overwhelming. Don’t worry about me, Santa- I’ll get used to it! But, for now, I kind of hang back and wait for people to come to me most of the time.
I do love having visitors. When they bring me something to play with, I stand up on my back legs like a little prairie dog! And once I get to know them just a little, I like being held and will curl up into a little bundle in their arms.
Santa, let me be straight with you. You’re a clever elf. You know I’m not writing to you just to chat. I have a request. You see, I’m six months old now and I’m only ever going to get one First Christmas. I know my family is out there. Do you think you could help bring them to me?
I’m not too picky about what kind of family. I get along with other cats, I’m not too worried about dogs, and think I’d enjoy having gentle children to play with, but I also wouldn’t mind a just-me-and-my-human kind of family.
It’s okay if it doesn’t happen by Christmas day, Santa. I know people are busy and I don’t suppose I’d really like to be introduced to a home in the middle of a big family gathering anyway. But… maybe soon? I bet there’s someone out there who needs me just as much as I need them.
If you find my person, please let them know:
My name is Pamplemousse, I’m six months old, and I’m spayed, up to date on shots, and fully vetted.
