Lucy – Ready for Adoption!

So, here’s the story: when I was a li’l baby, my people thought I was a girl, so they named me “Lucy.” When my gentleman’s jewels dropped and they realized I was a little boy, they changed it! Lucas? Lucien? Louis? Lucky? Nah. They went with “Lucifer.”  So that’s my name. The shelter didn’t give it to me. I came in with it. I know: It’s gonna be divisive. Some people will think it’s cute. Some will not. Some will have read “House on the Cerulean Sea” and maybe just change it back to Lucy. Most of you will be wondering, though: is it fitting? Do I have the heart of a little baby Lord of Darkness?  That would be a big fat “Nah.” I mean, I’m a kitten! I’m five months old. And, while I’m certainly not one to shy away from any mischief-making opportunities (again: kitten) and I can be pretty rowdy (did I mention I’m a kitten?), I’m a good boy at heart. I’m super-outgoing and confident and I make friends FAST. I love to play with other cats or people (probably dogs, too, although I haven’t had the pleasure of meeting any yet).
Really, though, I’m a total love. I’m not all orange, but I’m definitely orange enough to be welcome to the “orange boy club” meetings. I pass the dangle test. I’m fine with the drive-by swoop-and-snuggle move. And I will, on occasion, pull some shenanigan that leaves my caretakers scratching their heads, shrugging their shoulders, and going, “yep, he’s orange, alright.”  I’m cute, I’m goofy, I’m lots of fun, and I need a home! And, if you hate my name, adopt me and name me whatever you like. And if you love it, adopt me so you can keep it. Whoever keeps me gets to choose!  My name (currently) is Lucifer, I’m five months old, and I’m neutered, up to date on shots, and fully vetted.
