One way or another, I’m gonna find you, I’m gonna getcha getcha getcha getcha…And by “you,” of course, I mean… you! The person who is going to come to the shelter and take me home. My name is Blondie and I think you and I are going to be great friends. The details about my previous life are sketchy- my human, who cared for me outside, passed away and I was brought to the shelter by a family member. I’m declawed, which is a tough way to be for an outside cat. Which is just one reason that I’m LOVING the indoor life. Safety? Climate control? Lots of attention? All the canned food I can eat? Yes, please! Sign me up for more of that!  At 8 years old, I’m just middle-aged, but old enough to want to spend the rest of my life being pampered and cuddled. I’m very sweet and outgoing- you can get my attention with toys or treats, but the BEST way is just to scratch my cute li’l chin- guaranteed, I’ll keep coming back for more.  I don’t mind other cats in general, but I don’t really want them up in my face and won’t hesitate to give ’em a smack to remind them of my boundaries. I haven’t met dogs since I’ve been in the shelter, so am not sure what I’d think of them.  I do know I love humans and I can’t wait to have one (or two… or more) of my very own. Maybe you? Call me.
