Whatcha doin’? Can I help? I bet I could contribute in ways you’ve never even thought of!  My name is Beverly, by the way. I’m eight months old. So I’m old enough to be past the “fragile baby” stage, but I’m still a kid!  I bet life will be pretty sweet once I’m your cat. I love to play. I love my cat friends. And I especially love my human pals!  Right at first, I can be a little shy. There’s a lot of activity here and it’s sensible to be cautious, right? I mean, I live in a public place. But I’ll watch how the cats around me react when a new person comes to see me and follow their lead. If you’re nice to my roommates, then you’re probably a nice person and I’ll pop right out of my cat tree- Ta-DAAAA! and join the love fest.  I actually love to be held. And I’m super-affectionate! Just think of how much fun we’ll have once I move in with you and you have access to this cute little face all the time. I can hardly wait!  I haven’t met dogs before, so I’m not sure what I’d think of them, but I suspect I would do fine with a slow introduction. That’s the great thing about being a kitten: lots of things are new to me!  Heck… you’re new to me! And I’m new to you. And we both know that, before very long, you and I are going to be pretty much inseparable.  So come check me out!
