A good dog is like good toilet paper: soft, strong, and always there when you need it!  My name is Soma and I tick all those boxes. You can tell how soft I am just by looking at me! Don’t worry- it’s not just fur-deep. I’ve got a big ol’ soft heart, too! I’m a cuddly, super-loving girl who is instant friends with everyone I meet. I want nothing more than to be close to my human, ideally, at all times.  I’m a big dog- 74 lb! I’m not sure what breed mix I am or where this unusual silvery color comes from. I guess that makes me a super-rare designer breed, since there’s only one of me in existence. Since you’re also one-of-a-kind, we may be a perfect match!  I’m a strong girl, too. I’ve survived heartworm disease and made a full recovery! I was originally brought to the shelter as a stray and, apart from the heartworms and obvious physical signs that I’ve nursed puppies before, there weren’t a lot of clues as to what my “before” life was like. I still sometimes get scared of loud, sudden noises or cry when someone leaves me, so I need someone who is committed to showing me that I’m safe and secure for the rest of my life.  I’m okay with other dogs, but will sometimes object if another dog comes too close while I’m cuddling a human. I wouldn’t mind having a dog sibling, but would need the humans in the house to be savvy and experienced enough to keep the peace. I’d like to live in a home with no cats, please.  What I do want in my home? Lots of love. You.
