Everyone thinks that people want a cat who is suave and fancy, but I know better. Adorkable is where it’s at!

As a little round-headed black cat with an overbite (teefs!), a pink necktie, a tendency to drool when happy, and a total inability to play it cool, I say… awkward people unite!  My name is Johnny and I’m about as lovable as they come. When you pick me up and hold me, I just curl up against your shoulder like there’s nowhere else I’d rather be. Just come in and sit on the floor with me. I’m kind of a homebody and, in the shelter, I prefer to stay in my apartment and let people and cats come to me. I like visitors of any species! If I were a person, I’d offer you a nice cuppa tea and a ginger biscuit and we could sit and chat for hours. Since I’m not, I’ll give you head bonks and purrs.  I’m good with other cats and haven’t had a lot of contact with dogs since coming to the shelter and, before that, I was a man of the world with a past shrouded in mystery. By which I mean, I was found as a stray.  I’m everyone’s favorite, so… why not come and see for yourself why that is? And if you happened to decide to pop me in a carrier and take me home with you  (*cough*followingaregularadoptionprocess*cough*), that would be fine with me!  My name is Johnny, I’m a year old, and I’m neutered, up to date on shots, and fully vetted.
