Reecey – Ready for Adoption!

Okay team! I’m Reecey, your activities coordinator for the day. Here’s the schedule: First, we race. Then, we snack. Then, we nap.
For the race portion of the day, you don’t actually have to run. I can do the zoomies for both of us! All you have to do is stand there and occasionally do that move where you suddenly drop your body like half an inch to rev me up again.
If you want, we could go for a walk and see how many friends we can make! I’m the kinda guy who believes in love at first sight. Every time I see a person, I love them immediately. And usually, the feeling is mutual. Who could resist me?
Next, of course… snacks. Lots of dogs love snacks, right? I love them so much that, even at just a year old, I’m rather rotund. I’m a medium-sized boy who should, ideally, be about 40 lb. In my previous life, I lived with two other dogs. I wanted to be friends (naturally), but the other dogs bullied me, so we had to stay separated. That means I had to spend a lot of time in my crate. Anyone who works a desk job knows it can be tough to stay svelte in that setting. In my new home, I’d love a little more playtime!
And then… naps. Which also involves cuddling. I’m a very snuggly boy who loves being close to my people. I also do well with other dogs. I haven’t met cats, so I don’t know what I’d think of them.
There is one big thing I haven’t worked out how to fit into the schedule, but it’s important, so I really hope we can do it: filling out the paperwork to make me a part of your family! I do know the shelter is open 10-4 every single day (yes, Sunday is a day!) and you can come and meet me any time you’d like, so maybe you can find a time!
