Sometimes, when you’re nothing short of brilliant, the world doesn’t really know how to deal with you. I’m Butterscotch, a child prodigy, and I’m looking for someone who can help me shine!  I just turned seven months old and I’m growing like a weed! I’m already about 45 lb and all legs. I’m smart and fun and sweet and full of energy.  I’ll be honest- I have a reputation for being a bit of a wild child. But I hope you won’t stop reading there and give up on me. Yes, I’m an active girl! I’m a puppy, after all, and probably some kind of shepherd mix. I’m bouncy and wiggly and I love to run and play, especially with tug toys! I’m also of the opinion that anything can be a toy if you have enough imagination, but it seems humans don’t always agree with that.

But the thing is, I can absolutely focus that energy! I just need a little direction. When you ask me to sit, I instantly quit bouncing and do it. I can shake and lie down. I spent a couple months in a home and my previous owner said I was housebroken. I can walk on a leash. Like I said: I’m kind of a genius! I just need an outlet for my energy and intelligence.  I’m the kind of dog who makes friends easily. I’m exuberant and affectionate and I love everyone I meet. I’m good with other dogs, haven’t met cats, and love all kinds of humans.
