My name is Hambone and if that’s the only thing you knew about me, you’d already have a pretty good picture of who I am! I’m a total goofball of a dog. A silly, happy, friendly, loves-everyone goober of a dog. The class-clown-with-a-heart-of-gold of dog school. Let’s get the stuff you really want to know out of the way first: I’m about three years old. I’m good with other dogs. I’m a tolerant playmate, even for dogs who want to play rough. I haven’t met cats or children (at least, not since coming to the shelter as a stray), but I’m kind of a big kid myself, so I’d love to meet yours and see if we’d be pals. I’m 63 lb of pure love and enthusiasm. I LOVE stuffed toys! I like carrying them around, shaking them, and tossing them up and catching them. Meeting new friends and seeing the ones I know and love is really exciting for me, so I sometimes forget my manners a little and bounce around or try to sit in your lap and give face kisses. I can’t help it. I’m just so happy about everything. People keep telling me I’m an amazing dog, which is great because I think you all are amazing humans!
