Hey there Nick. It’s me, Alex the Kitten. I hear you’re in the business of making wishes come true and I was just wondering if you might be willing to take mine into consideration.

See, I’m only six months old, so this is the first time I’ve actually done this whole “Christmas” thing. I’m not all that familiar with the process. From what I understand, you’re supposed to spend Christmas at home and/or with your family. But that’s a problem for me… because I haven’t actually got a home. Or a family.

I wouldn’t think it would take a miracle, you know? I’m not too picky. I get along great with other cats and, while I’ve never met a dog, I don’t think I’d have too much trouble adjusting to living with one. I’d be a great addition to practically any kind of home!

Oh yeah- I also heard that, along with making magic and granting wishes, you’re kind of a giant in the toy industry. Is that true? That’s so cool! I LOVE to play. I’m a lively guy who would be an awesome match for a cat who needs a playmate or a person who needs some entertainment! I’m also super soft, very friendly and affectionate, and I have an upside-down necktie on my face. What can I say? I like to stay gala-ready.

I guess what I’m saying is, all I really want for my very first Christmas is a family to spend it with. I’ll do my part: keep on being adorable and charming! I just need a little boost to help my people find me. What do you think, Santa? Can you work a little magic?
