Cheese! Cheeeeeeeeeeeeese! Didja get the picture? Great! My name is Copper and I’ve waited a long time to meet you! I want you to know a few things about me. I’m a darling, happy, affectionate boy! I love having my butt scratched and will bounce like a bunny when I’m happy. I know how to sit, shake, turn, and smile! I’m housebroken and I love to play ball. I’m an energetic, determined guy who throws my whole heart into everything I do. Work hard, play hard, love hard. I enjoy playing with most other dogs and particularly like females around my size. When I meet a dog friend I click with, I’ll run laps around and around the yard with them. I’ve got a knack for drawing shy dogs out of their shells. I haven’t officially met any cats, but I have met the cat statue in the parking lot and… I’m pretty sure that dude is up to no good. You know who else is sketchy? Little kids. You never know what they’re going to do, you know? So, on balance, I think I’d prefer a home without cats or eye-level-or-smaller kids. There’s one thing I should tell you before you come see me. I don’t always make a great first impression. When I’m on a leash or behind a fence and I see someone I don’t know, I bark at them and make it sound like I might be kind of a scary dog. I mean, you know and I know that I’m actually a dorky li’l goofball who just wants to be loved, but I do have a big bark. Everyone would know not to mess with you when I’m around! But when you meet me, just take things a little slowly and I’m sure we’ll be the best of friends. I would be perfect for an experienced owner. I’m the kind of dog who would do anything for my human. I could absolutely be the best dog you’ve ever known.
