What could be better than adopting a perfect dog? Adopting a perfect dog and getting a BONUS perfect dog! Adopt a Roxie, get a Cleo! Adopt a Cleo, get a Roxie! What a deal! Cleo (age 10, the hambone in front) and Roxie (age 9, the more reserved one in the back) came to the shelter after their owner passed away and are now looking for a home together. Cleo is a goofball and a social butterfly. If you exist, you’re her friend. When she’s happy, she’ll hop around like an Australian breakdancer. Treats make her happy. Roxie makes her happy. The fact that it’s Tuesday makes her happy. She’s just a sunny girl! She’s a slightly-chunky 52 lb and in great shape for her age. Roxie is a thinker. She wants to observe and assess the situation for a moment before jumping in with all four paws. She’s a dainty girl, both in size (she’s just 30 lb) and in manner. Once she gets to know you, she’s very sweet, happy, and affectionate, but will still give you the side-eye if you use the dessert spoon for soup. Both girls are housebroken and, although they haven’t had an official playdate with dogs other than each other, they’re not reactive to them when they encounter them on walks or in the kennels. They haven’t encountered cats yet, but could be cat-tested before going home with someone who has a cat. They’re gentle, sweet, and mellow. I’m madly in love with them and I bet you will be, too!
Roxie and Cleo are 9 and 10 years old, spayed, up to date on shots, and fully vetted. They’re available for adoption (together only- we will not consider separating them).
