Sail away, sail away, sail away… or, more specifically, sail right on down to meet ME!  Did you know Enya, the singer, lives in a castle in Ireland with her cats? And Enya, the cat (i.e. me, the super-soft little four-month-old kitten in front of you here) currently lives in the lobby of an animal shelter.  Life goals, I guess! I wouldn’t mind living in a castle. And I would LOVE to live with other cats! I wouldn’t even mind living with dogs.  Here in the shelter, they tell me I’m a character. I’m not really sure what that means, but I think they say it because I’m the kind of cat who would be a great book heroine. I’m curious, brave, and always up for an adventure. I don’t need to follow you around all the time or need your constant attention to be happy. I can make up my own games! But I WOULD really like it if you’d join me. Every heroine needs a companion.  I’m an outgoing, affectionate girl who will run up to someone, purring, and demand their love… when I decide to. Other times, someone will be like, “Come here, Enya! I want to cuddle you!” and I’ll be like, “Eh, I’m busy watching a bug over here.” What can I say? I live by my own rules! Like the sign in the office says, “Dogs come when called and cats take a message and get back to you.”  Like most four-month-old kittens, I love to play! I’m happiest when I’ve got a cat or kitten friend, especially if they’ll play with me. If they won’t, though, that’s okay. I still like being around them.
