Hello new person. Would you like to pet me and hold me and become my best friend? Because I would be fine with that. As far as I’m concerned, we’re already best friends! My name is Sunny! And it is 100% apropos. Because I will be your sunshine. I will TOTALLY make you happy when skies are gray. I’ll make sure that you know, dear, how much I love you. And I have no intention of going away.  I’m everything you need when the world seems a little too cloudy. I’m super soft and very affectionate. I’ll follow you around and just hang out nearby while you work. I would say I’ll be your shadow, but… that would be mixing metaphors.  I get along well with the other cats and, while I haven’t met dogs, I’m pretty much always up for trying something new.  I’m only about a year old, which means we’ll probably get to spend many happy years together!  So maybe you can come out to see me today. Or maybe, you’re stuck with a day that’s gray and lonely. And if that’s the case, just stick out your chin and grin and say, “The Sun(ny)’ll come out tomorrow!”  It’s okay if I have to hang on ’til tomorrow.
