The thing about dogs and humans is that sometimes, a dog and a human seem to share just one heart. My name is Soma and I’m looking for the human who will complete me. I’m the kind of dog who will come up and lay my head on your lap and make everything just a little bit better. The kind who will lean my whole body into yours just to be close to you. When I see a possible new friend (i.e. anyone at all), my adorable stubby little tail wags so hard that my whole butt wiggles. I came in as a stray, so I don’t have all the information about my past. I do know I was heartworm positive and showed signs of having nursed puppies, but I’m spayed now and finished with heartworm treatment! The people at the shelter think I’m about four years old, which is the perfect time to start a new life. I haven’t had a playdate with other dogs yet because I’ve been working on getting healthy, but I’m not reactive at all when I see them on the other side of a fence or walking by. I think it’s likely that I’d get along well with another dog, but would love to do a meet & greet with your dogs if you have them to see if we’re compatible. I’m a sweet, loving, gorgeous girl with a huge capacity for love and I can’t wait to find the person who will change my life for good.
