Hello down there. You seem cool. I can tell from your hairdo. My name is Li’l Bro.  Does that name fit me? Well, I don’t know. I guess it’s all relative. I’m six years old, so… you tell me.  I’m making the assumption, by the way, that you’ll be taking me home. I hope you’re okay with that. So whether I’m the “Li’l Bro” or the “Big Bro” or the “Only Child” depends on the rest of the family! I haven’t met dogs yet, so I don’t really know what I would think of them, but I do get along quite well with cats and would be more than happy to have feline siblings.  Now, you might think that a “Li’l Bro” would be kind of a wild child, in-your-face and always seeking attention. And… I’m not that way. At all. In fact, I’m a quiet soul who finds the shelter really overwhelming, so when you meet me, you’ll find that I’m pretty “shut down.” That doesn’t mean I’m not a sweet, loving boy. It just means that I’m too stressed out here to think, relax, or enjoy myself, so I’m not able to really show you how darling I can be.  It’s okay, though. Like I said, I already feel like I know you. I know you’re an empathetic person who can understand where I’m coming from. I know you’re someone who might be willing to give a cat like me a chance. I know it’s hard when I’m struggling and not at my best, but I need someone like you to help make it better.
