My name is Pac Man and whatever your problems may be, I think I have the solution: Get yourself a marmalade cat. That’s right. An orange boy with big yellowish-green eyes. Maybe something around 7 years old would be perfect. Declawed in the front, if you like. I don’t wish to encourage the practice, but I, myself, do happen to be declawed. You know what else you should look for? Something a little on the shy side. Maybe someone who is pretty reserved in the shelter environment and doesn’t get a lot of attention. You know, I’ve heard that a lot of shy cats blossom when they get out of a shelter and into a home. You could be a real hero for someone who has been overlooked. Ideally, you should probably go for a cat who gets along really well with other cats. Like, maybe one who came in with several others and has been slowly watching them get adopted while he waits… and waits. Maybe a chill dude who likes attention, but isn’t too needy. Check all those boxes and, I guarantee you, it will be the best choice you’ve ever made. Do you need some help knowing where to start?
