National Ugly Sweater Day, you say? Now, you can have your opinion and I can have mine, but I feel I should come to the defense of so-called “ugly” outerwear.
My name is Snickers and I happen to think that being colorful and intricately patterned is anything but ugly. Striking, maybe. Bold.
Don’t get me wrong. I love a good party! I’m a real social butterfly and I’ll happily take any excuse to hang out with people and make new friends. I’m curious, extroverted, and I love attention. I’ve got plenty of pals, both human and feline!
Now, okay, I am positive for feline leukemia, and that puts a bit of a damper on the feline social scene. It means that I can live with other FeLeuk cats or be an only cat, but shouldn’t go home with FeLeuk negative cats. It’s a bit of a bummer, but not as much of one as you might be thinking. I’m a healthy cat with no special care needs. I have a pretty normal life: playing, cuddling, exploring, napping. The only thing I would change, really, is that I’d love to be doing all of that in a home!
Anyway, I have to tell you about the FeLeuk thing because it’s important that you know, but it’s just one aspect of my life and I don’t want it to overshadow the more important and interesting things about me, like my sparkling personality! I’m the kind of cat who will follow you around and keep you company while you do chores. The kind of cat who will climb into your lap even if I’ve never met you before in my life. The kind of cat anyone would be lucky to have. So, if you’d like more information about it, you can find it here: https://tinyurl.com/FeLvODAS
So if you want to have an ugly sweater (or beautiful coat) party every day, I’d be happy to be the star of the show!
My name is Snickers, I’m two years old, and I’m spayed, up to date on shots, and fully vetted. I
