Good things take time and practice. You don’t become a violin virtuoso in a day. You might be smitten at first sight, but real love comes with getting to know someone over time. My name is Jordan and I’m worth taking the time to get to know. I’m a sweet, loving, and sensitive girl who wants to live a cottage life: peace and quiet and plenty of work to do. I’m active, smart, and loving. You should see me light up when I see my favorite people! I’m awesome with other dogs and would really like to have a home with a dog sibling/playmate/companion. I’m also shy when meeting new people. I want to be friends, but I’m scared. There’s a lot going on here all the time: dogs barking, kennel doors slamming, delivery trucks coming and going, children shouting, and more. It’s an overwhelming environment and it’s hard for me to focus and feel comfortable. So, usually, I’ll approach people for short visits. I’ll run around for a bit, then come up and let them pet me (I’m super soft!) and scratch my ears and cheeks for a minute or so, and then go back to running around. I’m gentle and sweet- just scared. Of course, good things get better with time! With people I’m used to and whom I know well, I’m bubbly and excited and love to cuddle. My tail wags, I enjoy playing with toys, and I’m happy as can be. I’m just a year old and looking for someone with a big heart like mine, who will have the patience to help me feel comfortable, learn all the rules, and become the best and happiest girl I can be. I may be a little bit of a diamond in the ruff, but if you give me the chance, I’ll shine! My name is Jordan, I’m a year old, and I’m spayed, up to date on shots, and fully vetted.
