Have you ever noticed that some of the scariest things you’ll do are also the ones most wonderful and most worth it? Pursuing your dreams, falling in love, having a child, moving to a new and exciting place… and getting adopted.

Cosmic Stardust and Dream Float are a pair of sweet girls who are learning every day to be brave. They want love SO badly, but trusting human strangers can be a big risk to take! When you reach to pet either one of them, they back up a little, but then melt into your hand once they realize that you’re going to be gentle with them.

Cosmic is the orange and white one. She’s two years old and super sweet. It takes a little coaxing to get her to come out of her hidey-hole, but once she does, she loves having her ears scratched.

Dream Float is the all-orange one. She’s an unusual “ticked” pattern: she has stripes on her head and legs, but most of her is a soft solid orange! She’s a year and a half old and, like her companion, is a little overwhelmed by shelter life, but really wants love! She will purr, make biscuits, and even roll over for a belly rub once she’s comfortable with you!

Cosmic and Dream Float were fostered together as kittens and have grown up together. They get along well with each other and we’d like to see them go home together. Both girls get along well with other cats and have met and done well with dogs. In their foster home, they were very loving, happy cats! The shelter environment is a lot to deal with and it’s not unusual for sweet little sensitive souls like these two to be shut down and withdrawn in this setting. They would probably do best in a fairly quiet home with someone who will have some patience and give them the space to get comfortable in their own time. If you’ve never had a sort-of-shy cat before, let me tell you from experience: it’s one of the most wonderful and rewarding things you’ll ever do!

Cosmic is one year old and Dream Float is two, both are spayed, up to date on shots, and fully vetted
