Sometimes, I say to myself, “Angie, you just wait- you’re going to have a great life!” And I still believe it. I mean, it hasn’t quite been a meteoric rise so much as a gradual climb- things are a lot better than they used to be, for sure. But I still have big dreams! I just celebrated my third birthday on Wednesday. I spent it warm and safe, healthy and loved, and surrounded by friends… but not in a home. That’s where I’m headed- I just know it! Will I get to live with other cats or dogs? I’ve been around both before, so I know I do well with them. Will I get to be with someone who will give me time and space at first and let me get adjusted? I’m a very sweet and affectionate girl, but tend to be a bit reserved when meeting new people. Once I get to know you, I’m easygoing and enjoy being held and petted. I’m an “easy keeper” who just wants to be someone’s quiet companion. They say well-behaved women don’t make history, but that’s okay with me. I’m not trying to change the whole world. I just want to make things better for one person or family. And I know I can do that.
