What would my roller derby name be? Marge & In Charge? Whiskered Whiplash? Purrpetrator at Marge?  Whatever you call me, I’m gonna steal the show!

I’m 10 years old, which, yeah, makes me a senior citizen, but I’m still plenty punk rock. I’ve got the ‘tude. I’ve got the voice. And I’ve certainly got the heart!

Down with authority! Down with conformity! Be your own cat! Don’t let society tell you that you should be silent just because you’re an old lady! In fact, you’ll know it’s me by my voice. Come out to Kitty City and you’ll see: the cat calling to you from across the room? That’s me.  I’m a rebel, but not one without a cause. Loving fiercely is an act of rebellion, see. Yes, I’ve had my heart broken. Yes, I’ve been rejected. Am I supposed to just lie down and abandon all hope? No! I’m going to KEEP making friends with every human I meet. I’m affectionate and outgoing and, when I really get into playing with a toy, I bring a new meaning to the phrase “with wild abandon.” No, things haven’t always gone the way I’d like them to. But I’m going to be happy, no matter what they say.  The cost of refusing to conform, of course, is that you don’t always fit in. I’ll be honest: I’m not a cat person. Living, as I do, with 61 feline roommates is not my idea of a good time. Now, dogs? I’m cool with them. Love me a canine companion. And people, of course, are my favorites. But when I think of building my ideal community, it doesn’t include other cats.  That’s why, when you first meet me, I might not be at my most peaceful. I’m not above shoving another cat out of the way to get a human’s attention. But it’s not violence just for the sake of violence. It’s not just that I enjoy fighting. In a home, away from the feline mob scene, I think I could finally have what I’ve always wanted: peace, love, and the freedom to be me!  So come out & see me. Let’s join forces. Can we solve all the world’s problems? No. But you and I can make the world better for each other and, sometimes, that’s enough.  My name is Marge, I’m 10 years old, and I’m spayed, up to date on shots, and fully vetted.
