This one is for the gifted kids! Do you remember being in school? How tedious it could be to have to drill things you got the first time or already knew? How everything went at a snail’s pace? How you had to keep yourself occupied and interested by writing stories or drawing pictures or making up little games in your head?  My name is Flash! I think it refers to how fast I learn. At six months old, I’m a star student and I need someone who can keep up with me!

Not only am I clever, but I’m positively buzzing with energy and enthusiasm! I’m the kind of guy who could go far, given the right opportunities. I love everyone. Sometimes, I love them TOO much! I’m still working on some manners and self-control. I have a tendency to launch myself directly at someone’s face when I’m excited to see them and shower them with clumsy, graceless puppy kisses. And, in my joyful frenzy, I sometimes get carried away and start nibbling on their hair or glasses or nose, which… isn’t the best first impression. But please don’t give up on me right away! Give me a chance to settle down and I’ll show you.  I’m a velcro dog, through and through. If the technology existed, I would want to be surgically attached to my person. I love people and I love being around them. Being alone is boring and lonely! I do okay with dogs after a slow introduction and think I’d like a friend who can match my energy or a gentle, confident friend who can offer kind correction when needed. I haven’t met cats and am not sure what I’d think of them.  I HAVE lived with small toddlers and done well with them (aside from the fact that they were allergic to me)!  So what do you think? I’m bursting with potential and just need someone to nurture and teach me.
